hurst shifter worth it?

i got some extra cashk, thinkin about buyin the hurst short throw shifter.. will i really feel any difference with it though?

its not bad u will feel a difference.. but mine just broke out of no were a few times the ball would come loose and the shifter would turn so i cut down my stock shifter and its 10x better

I did the same took out the reverse lock and cut 1 1/2 in off luv it and it was free

its just a piece of steel rod ,you could screw up more putting in the hurst

Dont buy it. I grinded gears a few times cuz of it. Fifth is weird, but it might not be set up properly. It came damaged and i was supposed to get a new knob but never got it. I wish it was stock and if i had the stock pieces i would put it back.

you cant re-use the stock knob if you do this can you? beacause i hate the univ kind with the little set screws that always come loose or slip off when your trying to bang third... but i would love to do this to my stock shifter as i heard the "short throw" isnt that "short"
