I/E Stage 3 Dyno

Finally got my dyno sheet transfered onto the computer. I got it dynoed in carlisle at the All GM Nationals which was June 23-25. This is the dyno sheet of my intense stage 3 Cobalt SS/SC with a K&N intake and a corsa sport exhaust.

Thats strainge that is looses power after 6500 rpm, usually they make power all the way up to 7k. Nice numbers none the less, I hope I have numbers similar to that when I'm done with my car.

its wierd though cuz when the guy hit the redline at 7K it spiked to 253 cuz on the dyno sheet when you look at the curve i clearly didnt go over 250. i dont know what was up with it.

My experience with the eaton is that the smaller pulley you put on it, the earlier it stops building power, but also the earlier it starts building power. It looks like at around 6500 rpm, you've reached the blower's efficiency level, and it stops making power.

In this case, it may be worth experimenting with shifting a bit before 7000 rpm. Your making more power down low, and less up top, so a slightly early shift might be benefit your car.
