the past couple of days my car has been acting really weird it will randomly start missing then not be able to accelerate very quickly at all then go back to normal. today it did it but when i pulled over and popped my hood there was oil all over the place and now it has the blinking engine light saying its misfiring and has very little power. any suggestions?

 

What are your mods?

 

stage 3 ecu, 2.6 pully, 60lb injectors, full exhaust, header downpipe combo, injen cai

 

Try to find out where the oil is coming from. Check your plugs and throttle body.

 

all the oil seems to be sitting right below my supercharger

 

oil dip stick popped out maybe

 

Plugs would by my first guess assuming it didnt start this after any mod.
Replace your plugs and run some of that Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner through
for good measure.

 

i have brand new plugs and injectors. only a few months old

 

no cooling mods with a 2.6?

Seems to be a common enough prob for there to be a sticky on this. I'd check it out

 

oil stick is fine. i just checked the injectors, coil packs, spark plugs, supercharger, throttle body and belts. they all seem fine but it is still mising. i havent found any oil leaks so that may have been a fluke but the mising is driving me crazy

 

i just had the same problem... found out it was the valve clover gasket. and as far as the missing goes check all of your plugs, i had oil in cylinder #1 but the rest were fine. turns out i need a sleeve due to ring gouging it. hope you dnt go threw what i am!

 

did your leak oil anywhere cause i havent seen a drop of oil since yesterday so i couldnt figure out where it came from.

well when it happened to me i cleaned it up obviously and i went driving around and kept checking it. turns out it didnt spray oil unless i got on it a little bit...

 

mine hasnt shown any more oil since the other day
