I Need Help Fast

this is for the people who have bought new pistons to put in there 2.0L. im looking at getting the diamond racing pistons but i dont know what rods to get. i was wondering if i could use the stock rods on these pistons. if anyone could help me out with this problem let me know. if you have any other ideas on what i should do tell me. im looking at buying pistons and rods with in the next couple of days. thanks.

I"m pretty sure you can use the stock rods... they are good for a decent amount of hp...

The answer depends on the power you want to put out. If you are going for 300-400hp you are fine. If you plan on going higher with a big increase in boost, you may want to consider JBP's connecting rods (those are the ones I am using with my Diamond pistons) as they are more efficent (areodynamic) under very high boost\hp

You can use the stock rods, however if changing the pistons anyways you may as well change out the connecting rods. The stock rods are only safe to about 300 HP according to GM. And while you are going to have the entire engine apart anyways might think about doing any engine upgrades you want at the same time - cam gears, new cams, balance shafts, valve springs...
