I need some help!!

Ok, here's the deal. I'm young and i want to learn how to drive my car right. I can go

out any night and ***** **** around and drive the car like some maniac teenage kid, but i

want to learn how to drive the thing to its full potential. ON the track and on the streets. I

know there is a lot of poeple on here who know what they're talking about. So anybody

on here who has some advice or techniques they would like to share i would really

appreciate it. my mods are in my sig and i'm about to switch to a 2.7 as soon as i get

some money. thanks

if you have hptuners, limit some boost in 1st gear. I'm still on stock motor, so I put mine at 70% boost and I quick slip the clutch from a 2500rpm launch. I've beaten just about everyone I come across outta the hole. Even AWD cars. I'm still on stock wheels and tires too. You'll have to limit your boost more than me though with that small of a pulley.

If you plan to drop that pulley size, then MAKE SURE YOU GET IT TUNED, otherwise you will blow the motor from running lean up top.

would have been smarter to learn to drive before spending all that money making more power :P

but good for you for looking to learn to drive better.

definately consider spending your money on some driving courses instead of more power.
Do some reasearch on your local track....see if they have open days where you can take your car out and get some proper training, either on auto-X or a road course
