I have a friend in the used car business, and they just got a 2006 laser blue metallic ss/sc, they're selling for the same price and its got about double the mileage...considering the condition is excellent since its barely used, and not to mention you'll still have the factory warranty you cant beat that.

A L W A Y S ask for a carfax on your car! Some kid could have beat the **** out of it before you...thats the only thing I dont like about buying used, you never know. But you do have that factory warranty to back you up, and definitely drive it...I drove this one at my friends lot, and the guy who had it before, really wrecked it....the exhaust is all screwed up and holding on by chicken wire...i drove it and it lagged power BIG TIME....it was a difference of night and day when i drove that ss/sc and when I got back in mine. But otherwise, if everything checks out, that is a steal....on average they're selling between 15-17K around here with double the miles if not more.

A civic SI is not even in the same league as these cars. Oh, they are in the same price bracket, but they are overpriced like the rest of honda's lineup. You cant even buy a base Civic anymore (includes NO radio OR AC) for under 15K...

Do the tires look new ? Or are they worn a bit ? If someone took the time to mod the engine compartment with blue accessories , and shave the badges , they might have gone into some other things . I would have the dealer run the vin and check for warranty work or any warranty problems .

The 06's have a 60,000 mile powertrain warranty thou so if its still valid , i would prolly buy it .

Just be careful with the rates they give you. They are a very small private company that charges very high rates for a very long time. For instance my friend was looking into a mustang they had there for around the same price. They wanted him to pay $315 a month for 84 months at 7.9 interest. They drop the price down to make the deal seem amazing but then get u in the long run. Go for it but watch out for those rates.

I paid 17 for my 06 with 23k on it. So, if the carfax checks out and the car drives well, you'd be a fool not to
