my suggestion for nitrous would be a wet kit so you can tune for it and knowing the limits of the motor and you`ll be good. also if methanol is expensive for you just go get a bottle of windshield wiper fluid. use the stuff that says de-icer it is usually 40% methanol and 60% water. it wont cost you much.

i ran 23 bottles of nitrous through my car in a year and a half varying in between 60-100shot. compression is 210 across the board and she still drives great

nitrous isnt dangerous if you know how to use it and its hooked up right. Having a turbo or supercharger is more...well i wouldnt say dangerous but puts more stress on the engine then nitrous.
dude who is raping you on that nitrous fill!?!?!?!?!?! i paid $30 to fill my bottle. and sorry but your last comment is wrong. nitrous is the harshest of all power adders but also the most effective!

methanol isnt expensive, like i said you can go buy windshield fluid (de-icer) how much is that? 3-5 dollars? you dont go through methanol like you do nitrous. also the prices vary on nitrous and you and the other guy might have different size bottles that your filling so you cant expect your amont to fill to be the same. you went through 23 bottle fills in a year. at that low cost even its $700 every year that makes your nitrous setup in a total of 2 years will equal the 1,700 dollar port job. and nitrous fills are on average more than $30 a fill so it wouldnt really take 2 years.

windshield fluid doesnt do dick. ask me how i know. buy pure methanol and you see how much it is. and snakes709 has a 10lb just like i had. chances are that others will not go through as much nitrous as i did. it is the biggest bang for the buck by far. people are just afraid of it so they make excuses

i am by no means afraid of nitrous. secondly i can tell you that i posted that i pay 3.50 for a gallon of methanol from my supplier. 120 octane rating. you cannot tell me that washer fluid with a 40% methanol mix doesnt do anything for your vehicle. as far as i know its atleast rated at 105 octane in the washer fluid. also what about the cooling properties of both the methanol and the water. those are also there to be had. i dont see how you couldnt come out with a difference..... id say the tune would be the difference

Sell your Cobalt and buy my LS1 powered 88 Fiero. That would be the easy way and nobody would know what hit them.

Please stop telling people to buy washer fluid in place of methanol, that is all, if you dont know what your talking about, its simple, dont talk. The only suitable replacement for methanol is heet from walmart, gas stations, pep boys, etc.

I cant even argue with this guy, your completely clueless, keep using your racing windshield fluid, the rest of use will use methanol and actually get real gains.

acutally de-icer is about 40% methanol and 60% water... and most run 50/50 so how is that a waste?

does no one click the link above? what more do i have to do? i searched it up for you from a company that can be trusted. they make methanol kits.. what more do you want?
