I have the large CXR h/e running in series and meth with a 3gph nozzle as my cooling mods, with a 2.8" pulley. Went to do a few logs today, weather is 90*. IAT1's hover around the 110 mark and climb to 120* when I floor it. IAT2's go near 160 at redline during 2nd and near 180* at redline in 3rd. I know these numbers are way too high, especially since i'm running meth. IAT2's drop to 140* within seconds of letting off. My IC pump works, it's tuned to come on when the key is at "on" and i can see coolant bubbling and running. Is it possible for the IC pump to stop working under WOT? There is no air in the h/e and my meth is spraying, no idea why my numbers are so damn high. Timing is being reduced because of this and it's beginning to **** me off.
Are you running option b or extra tank to bleed the system easier? My only guess would be air in the system. If you're temps drop that quickly after than your pump seems to be working. It's hotter down here and I have CXR h/e, meth, dual pass, and extra tank and my temps never get over 160 on a 2nd-3rd gear pull.
