Question Idol bouces up and down when coming to a complete stop

Well I have to clean my throttle body atleast 4 to 5 times a year because the idol bounces up and down when I come to a complete stop, and sometimes stals.. anyone else having this issue? I clean it because it takes that idol drop away..

it happens

it gets dirty, so cleaning it is one thing to be on your list of maintenance

it happens when i come to a stop, maybe held the clutch in too much and the rmps drop

thats at like 3am when i go to work, could be a cold start for me

any other time it could be due to a dirty tb or maf

My old SS s/c did this really bad....The ONLY way to get rid of it is to keep doing what your already doing WITH the addition of cleaning/Re-Placing your MAF Sensor. Dont have that issue any more with my LNF, It is annoying tho.

id say its somewhat normal and somewhat tune, also try seafoam, cleaned the crap out of my system pretty well, and Def helped with some idle issues, for your issue its worth a try, its cheap why not.

I had the same problem not to long ago, its the throttle body, u have to clean it every now and then DEPENDING ON UR AIR FILTER FOR EXAMPLE IF U HAVE A KnN which is basically like haven no filter, will dirty ur throttle body quicker. i would say to use a reguler filter when in city and KnN for those racing moments...but thats just be.

This drives me crazy, I clean it out every spring and fall when I have my tires off, and about a month or two later it slowly comes back. I hate cleaning it cuz I have to take my whole intake off to get at it, which involves taking the wheel off and blah blah blah.

The a/c being on makes my idles bounce up and down realllly bad, I rarely use my a/c just because of this. I feel like a retard pulling up at the light with my car revving up and down.

why take the tire off? when u can remove head light and bracket and get at the maf and tb just push the intake around haha

i just recently put the zzp one piece 3inch intake on and im not excited about getting to the tb, i had the aem before and it was stock on top so just pop the pipe off and remove tb clean and put back together

This is more than likely an issue with the tune. If it is the same thing I have completely eliminated this with all LSJ's I have tuned.

We've had this conversation before, riceburner. lol.
there must be something wrong with the stock tune then.

And don't touch the maf with anything but the maf spray that dries super quick.
