Ignition Coil Question

Ok this maybe a newb question but i looked around the whole engiene bay and can not find the ignition coil negative. I need this to install my autometer tachometer. I got it for free so dont knock it and say its ricer. If anyone can help please post back to me.

It's coil on plug. Just remove the rectangular plate on the top of the engine to see the coil on plugs.

so remove that front bracket and i will see the negative to attach my tach???

Sum1 Please Help

OK so i pulled apart the top of the engiene to get to the spark plugs. hooked my tach up to the negative of one plug and it did not work so i figured if i went to the negative of them all it would work. NOPE still didnt work. Im stumped now can someone please help me out there. The car is coil over plug and i need to hook a wire up to the negative of the coil. Maybe it is impossible someone just please help me.
