He's gonna be mad when he doesn't dyno what he though he should. And please get a base dyno in first if you are thinking of dynoing the car.

When someone can actually crack the pcm and give fully tuned flashes than some real power can be made. But this piggy back stuff and tricking Maf's aint were its at IMO. I hate to say it but in the end the stage 1 if ever freakin released I think will show more gains than the piggy backs. But we won't be able to know till Gm gets off there asses and puts the stuff out. I'mean 500 dollars for what? 240-250 HP when you can get within 10 hp of those numbers with a pully and bolts ons running lean as all hell on the stockers. Not to safe but hey thats what I'm doing at least.

First : get two base dyno run before installation of the stage 3. Unless that you will NEVER now how much HP you gain from the Stage 3.

Second : After installation, runs a couple of miles including some strong acceleration. I found that closed loop mode (when cruising) have some influence on WOT runs (open loop mode) and dyno results.

Third : Dyno, dyno and dyno with the same coolant temp !

Have some fun )

Got to know how your cars doing is all. Like I know if I runn anything less than 94 octane detonations owns my timming and I got no power for like 6 hours. I got plenty of bandaid fixes for the timing issue though. Like I said not the best way but it's getting the job done even though its a little harder on the car. Thats why I don't WOT around the place all the time like a mad man. Its only a problem at or near redline. Self control is all I needed.

HAHA don't worry I'm never getting rid of this car. Gonna ride it till the wheels fall off. And nah I used to richen things up a bit to keep things safer but car doesn't pull as hard according to my but dyno. So if I lose a race by a hair cause I wasn't set up the way I always am, It pisses me off. I got one hell of a driver mod on my car but It can only take me so far. Some times you need that extra couple hp's to stay ahead in a close race.

I know what your saying but I'd rather pay a bit extra now instead of buying a new engine down the line. Especially a daily driver, if it happens to be one.

btw, where on LI dude? I'm from Brooklyn but work near Valley Stream in ghetto ass Elmont.

I forget the name, they did work on a car for me (the Z-24) a fw years ago. And Dream Cars South is owned by a friend, I think its still Glenn. I know him through Liz, my cousins ex-wife
