Injen CAI

Hey guys....I'm gettin ready to buy my CAI and I'm kinda stuck between the AEM and Injen. They only problem I can see with the Injen is that I hear that it doesn't fit right (rubs bumper and hood doesn't shut right). Has Injen done anything to fix this problem or is it even that big of deal? If so what can be done when installing it to fix the problem? Thanks in advance!!!

Well the AEM CAI and Injen CAI are totally different.
The AEM CAI is just a little piece that fits in the wheel well. You still use the stock plastic intake tube that runs from the supercharger to the wheel well.
The Injen problems are fixed. Get the Injen it's way more intake for the money.

Got mine back in March. it was a pain in the ass to install, but once I got it in place, it fit well.

Just be careful, there is a screw behind the head light that will scratch the poop out of your nice new intake!

As for which is better, I think the forum is pretty much divided, but I think more people have the Injen.

I would search and decide for your self!

Good luck!

We cant promise anything but email hung and request one, all the new 2.0 intakes have that on there from Injen. We cant get them but if you talk nice to Hong @ Injen he *might* be able to get you one, if you have one with the dimple and no decal.

I recieved my polished Injen CAI from turbo tech on monday and installed in under an hour and a half. Fitment was the best of any intake i've installed so far. Just a couple suggestions though is to wrap it up as you install it to prevent scratching.

The new intakes have the sticker covering up the dimple. You dont need to put one on.

Allshot - Glad we could help you out
