They might, but look on the Injen website there are dealers. If you didnt purchase from a dealer, they may not be as easy to work with on getting a new one.

No receipt required. Atleast they didnt ask me for one, instead they took a $50 authorization on a credit card, which will be refunded when I send the old pipe back to them.


OR

Send them your defective pipe first then you get the new one sent for free.

So How do you know if you need a new Tube as I just bought mine last week but it don't fit right so then do I contact Injen & request a new tube ?

I'm waiting for my new pipe too, its been sent and I was charged 50 bucks as a deposit, they'll give it back once they receive my old pipe back. I'm supposed to have the new pipe on tuesday so when I get it and get it installed that night I'll let you all know what I think as far as changes and better fitment. It sure better cuzm ine is GUAGED up from the screw behind the headlight and the hood prop. its gonna wear a hole thru it, its that bad!

 

I tried to email injen about the fittament every time I try to click on the injen tech site it comes up with fatal error and wont let me proceed anyone else had this problem?

 

No I just wnet to there site & clicked contact & I emeil them from there

I just got mine last week & i have the same problems as posted above as it hits the Hood support & the screw behind the head light plus it still pushes the wheel well plastic out twards the wheel so I hope the new tube cures all this !

 

Doug - you should have had a new design, but there is nothing stopping anyone from double checking with injen to make sure you have the newest pipe.

All intakes have been verified by injen and we have not shipped the old design in over a month since we found out there was a new design to them.

 

I just sent them an email I hope they exchange mine out. I hate that big bulge in my bumper.

You guys that want to buy the pipe for $50 are gonna have problems. In my opinion if you like your car at all, do it right and don't get something crappy.

 

What the hell does that mean? Were trying to replace the pipe that don't fit right for ones that do. Wouldn't tha be doing it right?

 

He is talking about members always stating "dont send the bad pipe back to Injen i will buy it" phrases. That they are bad and there is a real reason they need to get sent back to injen and they shouldnt be out in the market.

 

Aaron, if I cannot find my receipt for the Injen intake I bought from you, do you think you could send my a copy of it if you keep them?

 

I was just emailed from Injen as they want a picture and a Receipt & he will be intouch
Aaron I really feel this is an old tube as it really fits wrong cuz it hits 3 different places & after time there will be holes in this tube & I'd even pay the $50 to get the right tube!

Well you will get the $50 back either way (bad or not)... So you actually might as well go for it. Plus you dont have to send the old one back until the new one comes...

I am pissed how my pipe pushes hard on the bumper, and how Badly Its getting cut up (fixed for now) by the frame in TWO seperate places... the bolt behind the head light and in the actually whole the pipe goes through.

Thats exactly what they said to me too. Just have to wait and see cuase I havent heard back from them yet. That was back on 4/26/06

 

Ern I called & talked to Hong Dinh as I emailed him the reciept & pics & he never got bact to me so I called & he took my deposit over the phone & told me it was like a 2 week wait till there next run of Polished units & said it would ship then

That was a week ago so I hope to see the new tube soon

Hey anyone get there replacement tube yeat as I was wondering if it's fitment was any better as I'm really regreting buying this CAI if the fitment is not better on this new tube !
