Installing Factory heated seat components in a SS/SC, Has Anyone done it?

After countless searches, I have seen a few people that have installed aftermarket heating elements in their SS/SC seats, but how about ordering all the stock components, switches, new bezel and heat pads/wiring from GM. Has it been done and installed?

I want to do this but cannot find any real information on it. Those SS/SC leather seats are DAMN cold in the winter!

Not real sure about aftermarket, but to go all GM parts it looks like it's going to be as follows:

part number location list price
22730866 left back 44.08
22730861 left bottom 74.50
22730866 right back 44.08
22730861 right bottom 74.50
15817487 right switch 42.56
15817488 left switch 42.56
10386103 (2) l and r modules 184.70 each
15842353 nickel bezel 38.82
22728170 center cover 14.54

total 745.04

My wife used ours on our 07 yesterday and she loved it!!

i do like the factory look but at that price its kinda not worth it. you can buy a kit for two seats for like 200 bucks. with everything.

Buy the after market set, and buy the stock controls. That should cut the cost a little.

Its funny, even though it was not an option in o5/06, my 06 has the Fuse in the fuse block for "heated seats" I wonder if the wiring is roughed in behind the bezel...

i was told they are not putting in heated seats right now. i ordered my car at the start of september and a week later the sale guy told me that the heated seat option was canceled. i guess ill find out in two weeks when my car gets here. if it has it great, but if it dosent im putting them in.
o and i work at the dealer i ordered if from and i don't think the sales guy is trying to screw me over. and i know he didn't forget to put it in the order cuz i watched him submit it.
