Installing Stage 2 myself!

Well, all I have left to do is put the blower back on, put the new belt on, and hook up all the lines again. It was real easy to install, and I would have had it done a lot earlier, but I needed a hex wrench socket to take the blower off, and I had to wait an hour or so for the guy with the pulley remover to get back home. I'll post some pictures tomorrow after I get the ECU reflashed. Oh, and I also got my dealer to ensure that my warranty would still be 100% valid even know I'm installing it!

That's great that they will stil warranty it. It's good to see someone put one on themselves. Let us know how the finished product turns out.

I just finished cleaning all my tools up (12:46am)! The car started and idled nicely. I'll recheck my torque job on the supercharger when I can actually see them tomorrow, then I'll limp it down to the dealership for the reflash, and then it's fun time!

Two things learned during the installation:
1. The black plastic piece in the end of the blower snout was a BIOTCH to get out.
2. Routing the belt over the crank pulley is a PITA, but I somehow did it in the dark!

Yeah I believe they will still cover it under warranty if they inspect the installation as being well done. If they suspect it wasn't installed correctly, they will have to install it and charge you the 1.5 hrs

What torque specs are you using when re-installing the blower? I have looked for this and I can't find it anywhere

Yeah my torque wrench was off and I over torqued one bolt and it cracked/broke, but it came out easy, so all was well after it was replaced.

I drove the car down to the dealership this morning without a hitch. I just stayed out of boost, and kept the rpms under 3000. It just ideled a little weird because of the new injectors. Successful install by myself makes me feel pretty darn satisfied too.

On another note, I just got the car back from the dealership, and it's insane. 7000rpm redline is so BADA$$ it's not funny. The blower sounds crazy too! My gas mileage however was not so good needless to say because I can't keep my foot off it! Definately worth the money ladies and gentlemen.

Dyno's and video to follow when I get some more cash flow.
