it is now offically showing on K&N's web page as 8.1HP increase and 7.3lbs of torque @5700RPM but it appears if it goes almost to redline it gets almost 220HP@6450RPM. Where they have it capped off is at 208HP@5700RPM.

Cool, they have the dry filter now. How does it work with the plastic bag over the filter?

The air filter still uses oil. This is the info on the filter:

What K&N means about Dry Charger, is the sock that goes over the filter, its meant to be water resistant, to prevent getting moisture into the engine.

Hurray! Now someone just needs to figure out a water injection system that will work with this setup.

Holy crap I just realized when looking at the dyno graphs that both pulls were done in second gear! That means there is more power there if u were to do a 3rd or 4th gear pull. Looks like KN is trying to underate as well. Maybe I'm wrong but give it a look!

Those pulls were done in 2nd. How would that effect the numbers? Positively I hope.

Correct most pulls in 3rd or 4th give u a couple more hp than a 2nd gear would.

The tranny is not geared for high hp in 2nd so it didn't spend the dyno as fast it would in 3rd or 4th gear, and i'm not exactly sure about our car but 4th is ususally a 1:1 ratio.

1:1 is right in the middle of 3rd and 4th gear.
