Insurance Help
Suprise suprise, rates went up again for Geico. Renewal is 988.00 for a clear record. That is absoultely redicilous, I paid 1,050 for the Corvette AND Cobalt. When I only had the Corvette it was 550. I'm switching insurance companies. Any suggestions?
aww thats too bad lol jk man, but hey try paying my insurance for a bare ass cobalt $1400 for 6 months, one minor ticket, and thats the cheapest out there with the lowerest allowed coverage on a lease
how is your credit? if its good, state farm gives really good rates and has great customer service(my dad's truck was fixed within a week) and pay really quickly. if your credit is not great allstate is pretty good too.
I have Traveler's Insurance and paid $75.50 per month for the '07 SS/SC, liability on a '99 Olds Intrigue, and liability on an '83 Chevy C10.
But I'm 36 yrs old, married, 2 kids, perfect credit, and have home owner's insurance through them also.

Progressive for me. $2200 per year with the SS/SC, Hummer, Saturn, and S-10. I am 27...but I also hear that Auto Owners just had a price drop on Friday. I will probably be switching to them if it saves some cash.
wow you guys dont know what expensive insurance is. i pay $2635 for the cobalt alone. my 86 cavalier i payed $1560, on a car thats book value of $900. this is with my 30% discount.
here in bc canada we have a no age/sex bias insurance, it all goes by experiance. im free of accidents and have 6 years expiriance, the way they do it is you get a 5% discount a year up to 40%, then 1% every year after that to a max of 43%. if you are more than 25% fault in an accident, you lose up to 6 spots on the ladder (30%), and if your at less than 30% discount, you end up in a surcharger (if your at 10% discount and are in a major accident at fault, you will pay 20% surcharge). they are also implimenting surcharges for exessive speeding tickets and dui.
