Hi all, I am new to the forum and new to the cobalt scene I guess. I was looking at cold air intakes as my first mod soon to follow stage 2 gmpp.

I have never heard of this brand and was wondering if anyone things this is a good system to get. it is substantially cheaper than the others.

Thats the ebay intake i beleve. its a good intake from what i hear. There is a thread all about it.

From what i hear it gives just as much gains, as a AEM or something similar. Just the filter on that is crap. Replace it with an AEM filter and i say to have a damn good intake for the price. lol

Its just a tube and a filter. Probably no difference between that and my AEM. Wish i woulda known about those lol.

 

It is just a shiny tube. Though I do like my GMPP shiny tube !

 

yea they probably all work the same there are only so many ways to make an intatke for this car so ...they all post about the same gain...mine says injen tho nice and shiney..and i got a license plate frame tooo.sweet

 

The only concern I would have is if you are planning to install it yourself. I did mine myself and it was a pain in the ass and it was two seperate tubes. This one looks to be one solid tube. Might be a bigger pain than the savings are worth.

Check out this link, not much more money than the cheap one you are looking at and might be a lot easier to install. Just my .02
