hey everyone my car is stock and am looking at getting a cold air intake for it. just wanted to hear what everyone had and what they would recomend i want that whine that i always see in videos from youtube, not sure if i can get that stock though and i live in new hampshire so i gotta deal with snowstorms in the winter if that matters for the filter used. thanks guys

The Fujita DOES NOT fit well on our 07 at all. The rubber coupling off the s/c hits 3 of the brake lines and smashes against the underside of coupling alot no matter how its turned or adjusted (the 07's have a different brake line routing under that coupling vs earlier years).

It also doesnt fit in the fender well at all even though the vibration bracket is mounted correctly. The intake tube hits the fender liner even though the liner is snapped into place it bulges out in the center now against the intake tube and rubbed a hole in the liner from tire hitting it on hard right hand turns.

It threw one CEL lean code 200 miles after install, I cleared it no more code in last 1500 miles.

Well I have the Injen and love it. No codes or fitment issues and is super loud even when stock.

I've had 2. AEM and Fujita. I agree with the above post when he says how the Fujita doesn't fit well on our '07 models. I constently hear my tire rubbing the splash guard when i'm making right turns. I haven't noticed it rubbing the brake lines, maybe it's because i used the 'vibration' thing it came with (kinda spaced it out). I keep getting CAI's also. Maybe i just need to clean the MAF but who knows. When I had the AEM, no problems what-so-ever and it also came with the dry-flow filter. Just my .02... Don't get the Fujita if your 'balt is an '07.

The injen and K and N have covers that come with them so it's protected from water getting in it.

If you're staying stock, the K&N is a great intake...

AEM, dryflow owns you. No problems with the K&N though and it's going on 3 years.

Anyone using an intake for 07 'balt SS? I contacted Injen about their intakes but they only list 06 and im unsure if its safe to hook it up. They tell me they haven't tested it.

Im just protective of my Cobalt is all Im thinking of the Injen or the K&N. Which model/brand do you guys prefer/know that fits the 07.
