Any intake designed for the 2.2 or 2.4 will work though. I had a Weapon-R and just switched to a K&N typhoon. I love the K&N!

From what I hear, the injen has fitment issues. I have the RAW 3" and I love it. It flows more air than smaller CAIs and it fits nicely.

Is it really that much more air? im really leaning towards the injen. Unless down the line the 3'' intake will end up giving me more hp

As long as you have FI. Having a bigger O.D. will always help out more. Somebody correct me if i am wrong. The Injen is 3".

As far as I know there are only 3 true 3" CAIs. One is the Rebel, one is the JBP and I do not remember the third at the moment. I could be wrong, but I have seen many people complain of fitment issues with the injen. Many have replaced their injens with RAW intakes and been happier.

An intake is an intake. I have the injen and i like it, but i'd never replace it with another one. There is a guy on here selling his injen for 100 bucks, get that and be happy haha.

I think they are having a GB on it, or just did. Look under the supporting vendors for their forum. I don't rmember how much mine was. I got it on a group buy.

does the 3" intake give you more whine? Or is it all the same?

my 3" rebel intake has a little different pitch, but it whines about the same loudness as my old CAI. I do believe that there is some performance increase with the 3" intake due to MAF trickery. i feel like it pulls a little bit more on the top end and i seem to see some slight boost increase from before.

The fit is tight, but it does fit. You're not going to get a hole rubbed through it like some have gotten with the injen. I went from an airbox mod to the rebel 3" and I have noticed quicker boost, better whine, no CEL and the polished stainless looks sweet.
