Intake Thread # 98573625475989274

So after the fiasco with the ugly injen intake, which intake is now the best one to get?

Has Anyone experienced good results with Weapon R on there 2.0?

K and N , Fujita, AEM , Jbod intake, Which one would you reccomend?

For me injen is out of the question it just looks hideous!

I have the JBP intake. Other than the ugly computer welds, I like it. It comes with a vibrant filter. Going to dyno it soon to see the gain.

The check engline light is caused by the MAF readings being through off by the intake changing air flow. The stage 2 reflash won't really change that, other than maybe change the PCM tolerances.

If you want I will sell you my K&N intake. It's got a couple scratches but nothing you see in an installed state. I am back to the stock air box and K&N filter for now.

Its easier to tune with the stock airbox setup.

I just installed the AEM dry flow filter intake and everything went great. I went with this short pipe setup because it seems all other intakes have fitment issues because there is such little room for a full pipe setup and because the filter requires no oil. Also looks stock from under the hood which is a plus for dealer service.

if your getting it tuned go with K&N because then you can get rid of the CEL.

K&N Fits great, and looks nice.

For me, I have stock tube with a filer exposed on the end.

And I love his now. I haven't had a problem with it. I've had my CEL come one twice, both for less then a day.

i have the XTC, looks nice, and no check engine light!! i had one for a while but after about 200 miles it went away and has been gone for 4 weeks or so. blower wine gets two thumbs up, seat of the pants is excelent. i raced a bone stock 06 SS/SC and i completely wasted him!! we did like 6 pulls so i was heat soaked like a ***** but every time i spanked him bad.

I like the Fujita but I don't like how it rubs the fender wheel well. and I like the JBP, because it probably has the best fitment out of all of them, espesially how it tucks in the fender horizontally, unlike anything out right now. but I hat the look of the welds on the tube.

so I'm still undesided as well.

i wish we could have 1 product, that had great fitment, good sound and gains, no cel, and decent attractive welds and styling.

But i guess thats like asking for a chick with a fine face, nice body and great personality.

Its just so unlikely.
