Just got my Intense Stage 3 Kit this morning also. Going to install it tonight once done with work. So the boost bypass mod is necessary for this kit? I didn't get any step by step instalation instructions, but from what I read here it's pretty simple--Plug and Play.
I did get instructions on how to adjust the MAF-T and the pully tool instructions.
Let me see if this is correct.
Remove blower belt(adjust tensioner to let belt loose)
Remove blower
Remove stock pully with with Intense Tool and install new 2.8 pully
Remove injector cover and injectors---Swap with new injectors and plug in play harness
Remove spark plugs---Swap with new plugs
Plug in Maf translator(Settings pre set)
SW1=0N
SW2=OFF
SW3=OFF
SW4=OFF
BASE=C
WOT=1
Do boost-by pass mod? Disconnect lower hose and plug with screw.
Go out and test.
If I have time tonight...
Install Injen Intake
Install AeroForce Interceptor Scan Gauge
I'lll let you guys know how the install went. Shouldn't take too long to install. Ljavy17, thanks for the helpful hints on what NOT to do and what to look for.

yeah man, youll need to do the boost mod So your boost wont drop in the last RPMs. also disconnect the battery when ur done, and A BIG ONE!
make sure you take all of the air out of the injector rail before you try to start the car! youll mess up ur internals! the first time i started my car there was still air in there and I heard a big BOOM! and I thought I blew something up~ !

I can hear it slipping and squeking. Anyway to adjust the tensioner? Maybe I put the pully on too far on the shaft and the ribs aren't lining up perfectly. I went by the instructions and I think I did it correctly. "The hub (or pulley) is fully installed when the face of the hub (or pulley) is flush with the end of the supercharger shaft."
I'll go back out and drive it around a bit till it's fully warmed up and check it.
If it's still squeaking, I might end up buying a belt tensioner or get a smaller belt when one is available.

Took it for a long warmup and belt still slips. Damn I guess I need a smaller belt or different tensioner. The power is great, but wish I could make use of it. Anything over 15lbs it will slip instantly. Kinda sucks because you want to get on the gas, but you can't.
Is Intense comming out with a smaller belt soon and what other options do I have?
Belt Tensioner from ZZperformance? They are showing out of stock.
Just going to have to drive this slowly till I can get something.

I mean the car pulls sooo strong on 1st and 2nd gear that if you get traction in both, itll rip 12s.
My dad have a 1999 vette hardtop with 323rwhp and 330tq and he do 13.2 at 107mph at the track... so with a fwd car and your setup a 13.5-13.7 its a hard to believe track time...

I knew this kit would have the supercharger belt slip. The GM stage 2 kit supposedly has a new belt with it. I wonder if that would work with the 2.8 pulley because it is after all made for a 3 inch pulley. And that is if they even ever come out with the staged kits. But yeah Intense should either sell a belt with the kit or a tensioner.

We plan on offering the smaller belt with our kit eventually when it is available.

iirc stock corvette of the same year ran faster than that...the transams and camaros were said to be 13.5...and there is the claims of the elusive 12sec stocker. But the corvette is like 3200lb...the cobalt ion...2965. a 323 whp srt-4 is definately good for mid 12s...sounds like your dad needs to learn how to drive...a stock 03 cobra from motor trend runs like 12.7@108...like I said...you need the driver mod

believe me You will eat all the skittles man, last night I raced a yellow skittle with a stg 2 and some bolt ons and I edged him out by a lil more than half a car. I also raced a g35 boosting 10 lbs and it took me by 2 and a half cars from 40 to 120. I was very very impressed. so far Im very very happy with the performance of this car, cant wait to get headers and clutch and see what its capable of.

Yup, checked the belt and took it completely off and realigned everything again. Thanks for the info on the phone today. Hopefully we can get another belt soon once GM releases that part number.
This kit rocks... I'm seeing 15-17lbs on the gauge and after driving on the expressway today the belt slipping got a little better but 1-2 gears the belt still slips.
I just ordered a belt tensioner so hopefully when that comes in it will take care of the problem.
It's something simple. The car only has 750miles on it so the stock tensioner and belt might still need to wear a little. Still extremly happy with the kit dispite a simple belt fix or tensioner.
