... has anyone with the 'reset' problem tried to add a small capacitor across the power supply?
Just a though, but that's what I use to take voltage spikes out of most instrumentation.

Even with the new ones you need to hardwire it cause the ss/sc has no power through the obdII port. I would suggest using an add a fuse and tap it into your fuse box down on the passenger side below the radio.

I have one with the shift light and i love it.

If you're putting it into a SS S/C just tap into the boost gauge power. Otherwise do what others suggested

I know that in the SS/SC's you need a power wire however I am not sure about other balts. Look at aeroforce's website to find out.

Hint: Look at ZZP not CA. You don't really need a pod. I have seen people mount them on the steering colum.

All the new ones have shift lights and ss screen. I don't know where the best place to buy them new but sometimes you can find a good one at a good price in the classifieds.
