Interceptor Scan Gauge

So I got the interceptor scan gauge but I can;t get it to work or power on. I have tried plugging it in to all the fuses on the panel but nothing works. Am I doing something wrong?

probably have the wires crossed. does it power up when the dash lights come on and then go off?

double check your power connections. remember which ones are your grounds and which one is your power. as well, the little jumper on the back of the gauge needs to be removed for proper operation with the cobalts. the jumper is used for saturns.

ya. preferably on its on circuit. that means getting a mini make a fuse and using that in an empty fuse slot. but you can tap into an existing circuit (i do not recommend doing this though), if nothing is happening even after you have power, your plugged into the obd2 port and you have removed the jumper, double check your cigarette lighter fuse because that circuit supplies power to the obd2 port.

no there should be another part to it. there will be the obd2 wire and there should be another 2 pronged part to it.

go here and the picture that they show. look for the red jumper, remove that.

ya the cigarette lighter works fine. This gauge was on my buddies redline, it says Interceseotor Scan Gauge on the front. Does this one only work on redlines'?

no they work fine on the cobalts. they are just tricky sometimes. so nothing happens at all. you've got everything hooked up and you turned your car on right.

try resetting the gauge. hold down both the buttons for 30 seconds and then try it again

ummm should, if your doing that try the sunroof or wiper fuse first but seriously the mini make a fuse is the best route to go
