ok so quick update. Car hasn't seen much action due to family stuff and moving houses that took place in 2018.

Car starts, runs, and drives awesome. Still needs dyno tune but my rough street tune i put in it works for the moment

Finally got all the cooling system figured out. the davies craig setup toggling fans and ewp was the fix.

only thing i have to do is to drop the fuel tank to fix the fuel level sender, as it isn't working and i ran it out of gas due to not knowing the fuel level

im pretty active on FB but will make it a point to check in more often

I still have the car and it is running, but needs a tune and still have some improvements to make.

I changed the fuel pump setup to a walbro 450 intank/bosch044 inline and it is running and idling great.

the coolant temps are still crazy too low so will have to retrofit a DaviesCraig pump where my PRP pump was.

car makes boost and pulls super strong. cant wait until it is street legal ready.

Blake has been on SM hiatus while he is playing the dating app games...lol

Ok i figured it was looooong overdue for an update:

I got the car up and running back in 2018 after sitting so long. went thru 2 new fuel pumps from the car sitting so long on E85.

Got the cooling issues and water pump sorted out. and the car is running strong. Hade a small coolant leak that i fixed as well. I spent a TON of time over the last 6 months rewiring and sorting out electrical issues. Fixed a draw i was having on the battery which turned out to be a corroded wire and connector in the trunk for the BCM 40amp fuse by the battery.

The biggest issues i have faced were sorting out some plumbing and leaks. my -10 AN hoses from the front mount oil cooler line to the custom (pre-zzp al mcclure aka armperformance) oil tstat housing on the block for remote mounting the oil cooler had been tugged on and the AN fittings were leaking profusely as the hose wasnt seated deep enough in the fitting. Replaced that and cleaned up the hose routing. AHH MUCH BETTER! 8 quarts of Driven 15w40 oil and back in the fight.

I have to fix a fuel leak from the AN line on my BFRS, so i went ahead and ordered some fuel system goodies to further the already upgraded fuel system. Ill post more about this shortly once parts arrive.

Also added a Pioneer in dash screen with back up camera and even wired in a dock for a Nintendo Switch haha.]

The CF hood got some pins

The car also got some performance management goodies in the form of an Innovate SCG-1 for boost control, which also killed two birds as it replaced my Innovate LC-1 and the shift light. I now can select the desired boost right from my A Pillar gauge and do some other cools stuff which i am still dialing in.

As soon as the fuel stuff is sorted, ill be working on dialing in the tune and the other electronics

Glad to see an update and hear you're making progress on the car even if it is chasing down leaks and electrical issues.

Heres some of the engine and interior with the roll cage, that had to come mostly out to do the dash wiring

Nice update and I love the pictures, the car looks great. I really like how everything looks like it belongs in the engine bay. I look forward to seeing how well it does once you get it to the street legal drags. What are your hopes/expectations for the car when you hit that NOS switch?

Good stuff! Have any plans to have it on a dyno? I'd like to take mine to one, more so to dial in the off-boost and spool up ignition timing though. I feel like my car has a lot of gain there.

Thanks!

going thru punch list now - still need to check/setup WOTbox with the software, same with innovate wb signal to HPT, verify my nitrous retard relay is working.

The 6AN line for my feed from Bosch inline pump to the OTTP rail on Monday, the new pump/filter bracket, 30micron filter (#2), and the remaining AN fittings should be here next friday.. then just waiting for OTTP to ship my rail and Ill tackle the fuel system upgrade.

Then street tune and dyno. My truck was dynod at HPP, but ill go 21 Century Muscle Cars or Alamo as I have TVS comparison dyno sheets from them before.

I havent sprayed on the dyno but plenty on the track (which spun #3 rod bearing at the start of this thread ) and a couple street pulls. 50 shot on street, and 75 jets at Ennis Motorplex

Its currently got 100 shot jets in it, but im gonna pull like -6*+ of timing for the big end.

update: i decided to puss out and put 60 shot jet sizes in it for now. I have plenty of work to do with shaking everything down and breaking in the setup before i am ready to spray again anyway.

I finally got my Steering wheel audio controls figured out with my radio and interior is 100% back together once again with the cage in it. My oldest played Zelda with his Nintendo Switch on the flipout pioneer screen in dash while i took it around the block to charge the battery back up haha

Waiting on parts at this point so i am going to take the time this weekend to work on the tune a bit and get all the electronics talking together again (i.e HPT, Innovate SCG-1, N2WB, Davies Craig EWP/Fan Controller, MSD Window Switch, TPS Switch, test Fuel pressure cutoff switch, test timing retard relay, test WB interface relay thru AC pressure PID channel etc.). Pretty much my last weekend to do anything until week of xmas with work and prior commitments. Id at least like to shake the final few bugs, then address the fuel lines and be ready for some seat time.

I will celebrate the day i can get this thing to pass inspection and registered once again only been out of inspection since 2013...no biggie
