Bullshit bullshit bullshit. Does NOT fit. Search for JBP header, you'll find a MASSIVE thread going back and forth about this piece.

It's simply a CLAIM. No dyno to back it up. Here's the header combo you want

i thought that JBP had cleared this issue up, I believe in the thread you are reffering to JBP cam in and said that the first production models had fitment problems, but that was all cleared up. but still none the less expensive.

After several requests for Pics of the header installed they never could come up with any.

That I agree with, most badass looking header besides turbo manifolds on EVO's. Now those are sweet.

I was gonna buy it. I actually ordered it last jan. and waited till april and never received anything. Luckily I was able to get my money back. I ordered the cams at the time too but backed out because of issues I was reading and it taking so long. All in all i thought the header looked damn cool as well. Longtube performance jammed packed in a shorty style header. and the 31hp rating they claim is with their CAI, The vortex header and their 3" exhaust.

BS. If they could provide dyno proof and others could attest to gains like this, I would get one tomorrow.

What are you on crack? The only bullshit is the misinformation spewing out your fingers to your keyboard. For the millionth time, the header fits, period.

After several requests for Pics of the header installed they never could come up with any.
Anyone of the 20+ ppl with our header like to step up and show pics of their installed Vortex header to put this to rest!

BS. If they could provide dyno proof and others could attest to gains like this, I would get one tomorrow.
Enough ppl have our header, with dyno proof... We don't make claims without dynos to back it up.

i thought that JBP had cleared this issue up, I believe in the thread you are reffering to JBP cam in and said that the first production models had fitment problems, but that was all cleared up. but still none the less expensive.
Thank you, but it seems like every once in a while, someone brings up whatever misinformation they feel....

You know, you get really upset when someone discredits your product, you own a company, not everyone is going to kiss your ass 24/7. But when you come here say things such as this it makes you look worse rather then proving your product actually works. How about just using good customer service skills and reply to his post inteligently. No need to make snide comments on here just prove him wrong with your product.

I would probably lose my temper a little as well, if every time my product were brought up someone started saying it's crap without even ever seeing it in person or knowing anyone who has. I'd give JBP a little break, this is at least the 4th JBP header thread i've seen that went into a JBP bashing session.

You're both right... I can't count the number of times we all had to say the header fits.. Sorry if I let a little steam off.

JBP, 2 questions...1. Does this fit on a ion redline because i know the vibrant one has a different design because the redline one hits something on the cobalt...I dont know it they redesigned or what...2. ON your coilovers have those ever been fitted onto a ion redline?

I assume it fits, but its not confirmed. One ION customer who purchased it before we switch to a dealer system purchased the header, but never wrote back as to weather it fits. The coilovers will fit, but there will be some issues with the sway bar end links as to lengths.. You might have to switch over to a Cobalt style endlink... The rear should fit just fine as we get rid of the entire spring setup in the back...

the reason i was asking is because the cobalt has the 3 bolt strut tower where as the ion has a single bolt actually the bolt that sits down in the hole on the cobalt is the single bolt that the ion has

pic of ion strut bar installed http://www.saturnmotorsports.com/cat...roducts_id=643

Redline (LSJ)(Tight, but fits)
if its not confirmed then why say that in the product description? Just a question?

I would like to see some install pics as well. I REALLY wanted this header for a long time, but then I searched and EVERY SINGLE thread I found said it was bad and rubbed against the firewall and doesn't fit. I e-mailed and asked for install pictures and I never received a reply in any form.

JBP, perhaps to put to rest all of the nay-sayers and people who have lost faith, you should make a thread with pictures of it installed, dyno sheets, and just cold hard proof. That would end this whole thing.

So JBP lets see some dyno sheets, pics, videos on your header on a cobalt. This way everything will be cleared up! Im interested in your product but i would like to see how it sounds and see what kind off numbers we are looking at. Im sure once you strighten all these rumors out you would have alot more sales on this product.
