Thanks for the input guys,it's good to know i'm not getting ripped off on the install price, and i think if you want the warranty a gm dealership has to install it.

That's a real good price.

My dealer was willing (reluctantly) to do the install for $200. He trusted me when I told him that someone had mentioned to me that another dealer would do it for $200. But before I picked up the car, I actually called that other dealer myself and found out that they wanted $400.

So in good conscience, I had to mention this when I picked up my car (service manager had already written up the bill for $200).

I told him I'd pay him the $400, and he was thankful for my honesty. The mechanics there did an excellent job on the install, and the people who did the work on my car enthusiastically came out to talk to me about what they did.

That made me even happier that I was honest with them!

I'm not perfect, but it's nice to know I can do something right at least once in a while...

In case of a possible problem with the install (or even after the install):

SCENARIO #1
Stage 2 NOT installed by the dealer
"Sorry son, we didn't do the work. So, how much do you have on your credit card?"

SCENARIO #2
Stage 2 INSTALLED by the dealer
"Sure, bring it right in. We honor our work."

Now, which one of those scenarios would you people rather prefer?

They were thinking that the snout of the supercharger wasn't machined enough.

its true, im in alberta, and it was 1200$ for just stage 2 from the dealer lol, plus 4 hours of install at 88.50 an hour ..... LEWL\

for the same price i spent a whole day on a dyno and got a pro tune!

and way more **** then what the 1200$ they wanted for stage 2 was giving me!
