I have an 05 cobalt ss.sc with pretty good amount of mods on it. I have the k&n typhoon intake for it as well. My dads friend put in a stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel for me the past few days, and he told me that my intake filter should be cleaned or changed. Should I buy a new k&n filter or just clean and recharge the one I have? Is there a better one I can buy that can fit right on the end of my existing k&n tubing? Please let me know what I can do to get the most power...or lemme know if I need to do anything at all

 

Just clean and recharge the one you have. Buy a recharge kit for about 9-12 bucks and be careful the not over oil the filter and just follow the instructions. Pretty simple. Good luck.
