K&N Typhoon w/ "Drycharger"
K&N Typhoon w/ "Drycharger"
For those of you with the K&N Typhoon intake ...
I just got mine from TTR (TurboTechRacing) - great guys to work with by the way - and had a quick question: it comes with a panty-hose like sock thingy to put over the filter (I'm assuming to keep water out). How many of you actually have it installed on your filter? I had a similar CAI on my Camaro for years with no such cover and had no problems. It looks like it'll just decrease the airflow.
Any input is appreciated.

The material is totally breathable and it is worth putting it on. It will save you from re-charging your filter every month. Injen had dyno charts somewhere showing before and after and there was no difference. I personaly don't experience any difference and I have experience with and without it. It's worth it!!

You can go here for an injen dry charger. As far as k&n goes, go to k&n's website.
