its a device that uses the air conditioning unit in your car to chill the inlet charge of the s/c.

great idea it seems on paper. I am not sure that Flatgod was satisified with it, not sure how far he took it.

there is probably a reason that folks dont buy them, much it could be complexity/performance gain versus potential cost.

in my experience there is nothing that beats a single pass with 4 ports, a racing dual pass griffin h/e and option B thats what i have run for 5 years now.

but a dual pass with option B and a racing griffin is a close second for sure.

I have not seen good cooling results with a fmic, and I dont know about the killer chiller results other than what I have posted here.

idk how much ottp wants, even for testing it still probably alot of money. The IAT2's are lowered a bit but for the price it's just not worth it.

Could I get one for that price too? My test results won't help you much but the Killer Chiller is a great upgrade to have.

Anyone who doesn't think it's worth the money is on drugs or has never tried it.

Edit: The Killer Chiller will help guys going to a 2.8'' or lower pulley greatly, and the TVS guys.

I read the review flatgod gave. firstly he installed it wrong, and then he didn't post the final results that were by far the BEST, it was something like 20* cooler. I would love to do a full write up with pics and results, but even $300 is too much for me, I was hoping it would have been cheaper

the termi's get excellent results as well with this unit and you can actually find them for sale everywhere unlike the cobalt.

Agreed. If you give me a price I couldn't refuse i'll give you a full review and write up. I'm dropping to a 2.6" pulley next week too

the write ups ive seen so far for the killer chiller have been installed wrong for the most part. id like to see it where someone realizes how this is supposed to work and installs a 10 gallon insulated cell in the trunk and fills it with extreme cold weather antifreeze, then eliminates the stock evaporator core so the system is only chilling the tank, then drive gently and watch the iat2s plummet. dont use the stock ports on the chiller for circulating the coolant, put the return at the very top corner of the tank and the output at the opposite bottom corner, at wot the ac will cut out and the tank will act as a battery for extremely cold fluid, should take at least 60 seconds cycle all the chilled fluid out of it, much longer than any drag strip or single burst highway race. with the lines insulated both ways any time the engine isnt under boost the fluid will be chilling, should be possible to push the tank temps way below freezing, the fluid isnt going to pick up hardly any heat from the intercooler when the engine isnt under boost the condenser sheds way more heat than the unstressed intercooler adds. Someone is going to do this system right and when they do its going to become a standard oe piece of equipment for boosted applications. The other obvious failing to our intercooler is that there are no laminova cores on the front side, only the four on the underside. Im very suprised no one has modified the intercooler to add 3 or 4 to the front, the more fin space inside the intercooler the more heat can be sucked out of it.

Hmm, this would be cheaper than a griffin exchanger.. Are all the required parts for a basic install in the kit?

All the parts are there you would just need to mount it yourself. Be it a bracket system or anything else you would make for it.

I have to say:

1: You have it installed the correct way.

2: Maybe you should try this.

Because either way it sounds like success.
