Launch Control for SS/SC?

I know the new Turbo SS's come with Launch Control. Does it exist for the Supercharged models? Is it something that can be added by a new ECU?

no..and the no-lift shift is for turbos..superchargers produce boost all the time they don't need to spool up

some people have figured out how program in a launch controll/flat shift setup, however it isnt ideal. basicly they use the clutch switch and set the p/n rpm limit. doing this will pull the motor down to the set rpm limit whenever you push the clutch in. if its set high enough, not an issue, but if you have it lower it gets anoying when your trying to drive it easy.

You guys are obsessed with this Launch control deal its for people that are morons and cant drive. Maybe its good for drag racing but everytime I had it on while autocrossing my times have been slower. Heres an example the first two runs in this video are with Launch Control/Competitive Mode on second two are with traction control completely off.

You don't need launch controls if you know how to drive your car

But you have an auto. Launch control is slightly different from traction control for the manuals. Who was it on here that called it n00b control?

step one. learn to drive
step two. launch control is a handicap for those who think 4900 rpm clutch drop will hold on street tires.

hell, forget launch control, forget no lift shift....

I want a button in my car that says "1/4 mile pass"
i just push it, and recline the seat, and enjoy the ride.

(for those who are wee-todd-id, that was sarcasm)

The no lift shift feature is cool...I could do without the launch control thingy that tries to get me to clutch bomb at 5k or w/e it is

I like my clutch too much to try it out...I do know you can no-lift shift while not in competitive mode...

...try it...it won't bounce off the limiter and it will hold boost and pop...

your probably just doing a good wot shift,
which would prove that no-lift isnt really doing squat for you
