What is the best RPM's to launch at and how can you tell if you have the G85 package?

 

look under your trunk mat, the build sticker is there. if it says G85 you got it. if not you dont.

Or you can listen to everyone who will tell you to do a burnout or take a turn quick and accelerate hard

thats if its an 07, if its an 05-06 youll have recaro seats. some early 07's have recaro's too

What about RPM launches?

 

2200 seems to work well for me at the track and on the street... well if you can grip probably 3..i normally launch at like 2500 on the street but all it does is spin you really have to feather the throttle..and track ouch wheel hop..to launch in a higher rpm you need motor mounts tranny mounts tourqe damperer..all those things will help getting the power to the road

 

Its a learning curve, it al depends on your setup and where your comfortable. Takes practice
