Figured 'potential mini build list' thread was no longer just potential. So I fixed that shit. Ok! As some of yall may know, I've been gathering parts for the last couple months to do a head + cams build and a valvetrain refresh. Heres my current list of parts under the hood/trans Devilsown Progressive Meth Kit with 10 GPH Nozzle Custom Fabricated Front Mount Meth Tank 2.8” Pulley, Multiple Pulley System 60# Siemons Injectors ZZP 3" Intake WOTBOX ZZP Longtube Header/Catted Downpipe Combo ZZP Resonated 2.5" catback Ottp Stage 1 Heat exchanger GM Stage 2 Belt 574's Dual Pass Endplate ZZP Phelonic Manifold Spacer NGK 1 Step Colder Spark Plugs HPTuned JAMES RAKES TUNE OMG NOOOO GMPP Clutch Upgrade Kit ZZP Stage 1 Axles TTR Engine Mount Powell Race Parts Front Trans Mount LNF Rear Trans Mount LNF Shifter Linkage/Throwout Bearing TWM Short Shifter W/ Base Bushings, & Cable Clamp OK, so now here's the list of parts going on the car in the next couple of weeks :D LSJION ported/polished/decked/cleaned LSJ head ZZP Stage 2 Cams Performance Autowerks 80# Valvesprings ATI Super Damper (overdrive) ZZP Neutral Balance Shafts 2.7” pulley LSD Trans 80# injectors (for running the E85) New meth kit with more failsafes Machined front cover New timing set ARP Headbolts and timing chain guide bolts ZZP Stealth heat exhanger PC’d rims, cutoff shields and valve cover and strut brace New retrofits Luckily I’ve collected a good pile of piktarz for all to enjoy J Extra set of wheels I powdercoated mustang blue Attachment 27101 Said rims will be used with these 1” hub adapters for the hellafit Attachment 27102 Also powdercoated these cut off shields… Attachment 27103 for these! Attachment 27104 Attachment 27105 Attachment 27106 Attachment 27107 new wiring harness and ballasts Attachment 27108 Valve cover & new gasket Attachment 27109 Attachment 27110 head Attachment 27111 Attachment 27112 Attachment 27113 head gasket Attachment 27114 front cover gasket Attachment 27115 this badboy is from an 06 with 15,000 miles on it! Attachment 27116 Attachment 27117 some fluid, clutch pipe and throw out bearing for the refresh. Trans seems to row through the gears for what the levers are worth. CAN ANYONE TELL ME what to check out as far as the input shaft play etc are concerned to make sure this thing is good to go? Attachment 27118 Attachment 27119 timing stuff… all new guides, updated tensioner, cam gears, chain etc… Attachment 27120 new S/C bolts, thermostat, a seal for something I forget… fuel injector isolators Attachment 27121 the zzp neutral balance shafts. We have space there to work on our cars. We plan to lift the car up there to drop the cradle and go from there. Hoping to start next weekend, and be done a few weekends after that, and dyno tuning at Pwerks by march. I still need new valves. Perhaps supertech valves. Otherwise… that’s about it!
