Leaky Meth

Hey guys!

As some of you know I went to meth injection bout 3 weeks ago.
I made a bone head mistake and drilled the injector nozzle hole to big.
Well I got new intake plumbing and redrilled the correct size and it still leaks.
I re ran the tube from the nozzle to the pump as the old one was tight. This tube has plenty of slack and it still leaked. I got flowable silicon and tried that and yet it still leaks.

This sucks as with the 2.8 I see fluctations in Knock Retard gettingto bout 4 degrees pulled in 3rd gear and my IAT2's rise quickly still. It must be getting some of the methanol/ water mix as I use to get up to 9 degrees pulled in timing on knock retard with the 2.8.
The nozzle injector size is 6gph.

So I'm gonna put some more flowable silcone on and see if that seals it. And if not I don't know what to do.

Also it looks like the leak may be coming from tube connector on the nozzle. AIS has an orange retainer lock to keep the tube in and not leak but I don't think it's workin.
I'm going to try some more flowable silicone on the intake seal to see if it's that but if not I'll have to get ahold of Rodney at AIS and figure something out. The orange retainer lock just might not be good.

I don't want to bash on AIS as Rodney and the company have been nothing but helpful in everything and are a great vendor.

Wanting to hear your opinions.
Thanks!

Pictures are worth a million words. Post some up so I can see what you're taking about and how the AIS jet works/installed. My Devil's Own kit came with a washer that has a rubber side to it. You put the jet inside the intake and the rubber part of the washer sits against the inside of the intake so when you tighten it down it make a seal. Also, be sure to use teflon tape or paste on all your threaded parts.
