Lightweight Wheels for SS/SC???

Guys,

I was looking at buying new wheels for the Cobalt SS/SC. I have Rally yellow 05 but I am looking at buying new wheels black in colour that are lightweight in a 18" size?? I am having a hard time finding ones that I like....Does anyone have any pics of lightweight wheels on there SS?? Also how much did you pay? Where did you get them?? And how much for set of 4??

Also how much do the stock gunmetal 18"s weight??? Just curious?

HOT CARL

Stock wheels aren't as heavy as people make them out to be, but they still weigh a lot. I'd go with 17's... but that's just me.

Well they are a 55mm offset because they are for a solstice. No one has them on a SS/SC yet but the TC guys have to use ARP extended studs and a spacer in the front.

They are pricey but you get what you pay for. They are forged and lightweight.

motegi has some awesome wheels check out tirerack.com

they have them from 15 - 19" and are forged and lightweight

their "tracklite" 2.0's come in 17 x 8 and are 14 lbs.......badass

those are what I want to get, sounds like a good size 17 x 8, gets me all warm and fuzzy

You are forgetting about OZ Ultraleggera's, they weigh 18lbs and are a 18x8 wheel. Edubs has them on his car but the pictures that he posted are no longer in his photobucket profile but check out his sig.

If you can wait until early next year, Tire Rack shows the OZ Racing Alleggerita HLT on the way.

There's no weight listed yet for the 18x8 but OZ's website says a 17x8 weighs in at just 14 lbs.

^ My thoughts exactly... I'd be drooling if I didn't already have my wheels.

I can't imagine the 18" version weighing more than 18 lbs, probably end up more like 17 lbs.

::waits for someone to bemoan the price::
