I run the 2.5" ArK on my LNF. 3" catless DP + ArK is t3h s3x! Its the deepest sounding exhaust ive ever heard. Mind you the turbo helps with that. Best mod to date i think!

you don't need to make serious power to have a 3" exhaust on your ss/sc. If anything it's better to get that early on so that your exhaust won't be an additional cost later down the road.

no, that's only if you're n/a. You'd probably lose a little torque, though, but nothing major. Do you have any other mods besides the intake your gf bought you?

You will lose power and you're car will be loud as hell. I guess if you plan on going turbo or TVS in the near future then do a 3". But if not you're car will perform and sound better with 2.5".

lol not true at all. You might lose a little torque like mexi loco said but you arent going to notice any loss of power. Your car is not going to be loud as hell lol. Your car is going to sound like sex. Hahn is by far the best sounding exhaust i have heard. Far from ricey, with a really nice deep tone. Only downfall to it is that its expensive. But if you ask me, worth every penny.

Yeah I went for sound over looks. The ark looks ricey anyways imo. But, to each their own.

this. And as far as getting an angular look on a fart can, that's just a matter of going to any exhaust shop and getting them to chop it for you. Most people on this forum don't like seeing fart cans on a cobalt, however, since it's not an import. But to each his own. I've got a fart can on mine right now, but I'll be switching over to a vibrant 3" exhaust with a hahn 3" catless downpipe once I finish my build.

An exhaust is really something that should only get done once. If you're not thinking (and I mean REALLY thinking) about making anything more than 250 crank hp, then don't bother going with anything bigger than 2.5" exhausts. Anything more will need a 3" exhaust. So really have a sit down with yourself and figure out how deep down the rabbit hole (or **** hole) of the modding world you want to go.
