Are the tunes that far off with those who aren't tuned by him, or what is it?

I'll say it again, I'm just curious, not trying to **** people off. Cause I know how you all get when someone mentions Bryan.
90% of all tvs-equipped people are on the supplied 3.1" pulley. more still do not have the availability of meth or e-85.

and NO ONE is as good a tuner as brian

truth be told about my car and my power levels. i rarely hook up the lap top to the car. only when it throws a 171/172 code in the winter time. that's it. it doesn't get logged every day, or dicked with everyday. i just put fuel in it and drive it. when something major gets changed, like the injectors. it will sit on the logger for about 3 hours max and left at that. the same tune i run on the street is what i run on the dyno. the afr stays where i want it on both dyno and street.

360/301 on a 2.6 pulley, with belt slip above 6k rpms. the fuel map/injector control has a lot to do with the power and drive ability of the car itself. none of the 60lb cars i have tuned have idle issues.

you have to be willing to spend the money to make the power. if you cheap out and take short cuts. it will relfect in the power you make.

cheap parts yield cheap results. then again, i don't expect everyone to spend 500 bucks for a set of injectors.

Very true statement Area. It will show if you cheap out on parts.

I love these threads. I am running a TVS right now with the stock 3.1 pulley. And I think the car is still sick. Unfortunatly I don't really know where to get meth...plus I don't really want to deal with worrying about it. I am definatley going to run E-85 as soon as it is available somewhere near by. The closest one is in Bear DE about 26 minutes south of me. I think an half hour is too far.

To run E-85 with a TVS on a 2.8 pulley do I just need 80lb injectors and a Tune? Or is it necessary to buy something like that zzp fuel regulator thing?

If I decide to run meth can I keep the 60lb injectors with the TVS on a 2.8 pulley with a meth mixture of 80/20? And is Devil's own base meth kit good enough?

either something like ZZPs BRFP system or 100lb injectors (as area used methinks..or maybe he was on an even smaller pulley)

Also can I just drop the pulley size down to 2.8 or 2.9 with 80lb injectors and no meth and see a power increase?

Here is my current dyno with the 3.1 pulley and 60lb injectors (no meth).

I mean I don't even come close to having heat issues with my heat exchanges, dual pass, and hatrick stu mod. So I am not worried about the heat, I just wonder if it would be worth it... and if I did do it, where would it put me power and torque wise.
