Thumbs down Looking for a good header w/ downpipe and cat suggestion.

First somthing kinda funny. I just put a Corsa exaust on my cobalt ss s/c and now people in my neighbor hood are giving me hand signals to slow down and stuff, even though im only going the same slow speed as i always do. Maybe I sound faster. Anyways, there is this one young jock playing ball in his yard always giving me the thumbs down. One day I got pissed and flicked him off, he dropped his ball and bolted accross the lawn at me. Wow ok, thats going to scare me. So now next time I see him I want to make sure im even louder, and making sure im going at least 80. Also some damn lady walking her dog always lips, "slow down" too, I want to burnout right in front of her.
Ok looking for suggestions...

I have neighbors like that. They stopped my buddies as we were convoying to the local hangout. The neighborhood chairman or whatever the hell she is told him he needed to slow down. He was like I'm doing 20mph, that's 5 under for a residential area! She was like my husbands a cop to try and have the upper hand. What she doesn't realize is that I'm military myself, my buddy's dad is a local cop, and we weren't even breaking any damn rules. What a bitch. My older neighbors across the street even said she had a stick up here ass! LOL.

Anyhow, get the CTI header and downpipe. That's what I'm going with as I have heard nothing but great things about it.

we've started making a header/dp for my car. it's replicating the one from the time attack cobalt (we seen some pics of it). it's a wierd design that none of us thought of before, but we're going to give it a shot anyways and see how it works

should be pretty cheap to make too, but it will have to be used with the dp it was designed for, there will be no way to hook up a normal downpipe to the header.

Sammy, who is "we?" I may have missed something here, but are you a vendor or someone that works for a vendor? Sorry for the confusion.

I have a question, not meaning to steal the topic, but I am looking into getting the CTI Header, downpipe, etc, and getting the hahn racecraft exhaust.

But i keep hearing something about 3" hindering our cars. Is that the cat-back or is that the downpipe?

3" is refering to the catback. it doesnt necessarily "hinder" the cars, but it is too much unless you are running some serious mods. you would just lose a lot of low-end power. 2.5" is plenty for most applications.

Okay, thanks. So would a CAI, header, downpipe be enough? or is more required?

That's exactly what I got, plenty happy with the results.

Yeah, my neighbors smile and wave at me when I'm driving my work van, but they either pretend to not see me waving at them or just glare back at me when ever I'm driving the ss/sc.

It's $700 for the header but it comes with the downpipe. You can have him (*****) make it fit up to 2.5" or 3" exhaust and the downpipe can be with cat or without, just let him know in the "comments" box when you go to order - all are custom made when ordered.

If you want loud and good sound my exhaust sounds pretty good and just under normal conditions can be heard over 1/2 mile away, WOT I'm sure is audible to over a mile away. the link in my sig will show you how loud it really is.
