Low cost 3.3" drop-in high flow air filter ...

Pretty damn sure it will fit in the SS airbox ... for those who still want some blower whiiiiiiiine ...

According to a technical article I read on the Kenne Bell website, a 75 mm diameter intake is good to flow up to 450 HP.

I think the most restrictive part on the Cobalt SS air intake is the filter element itselfs, since merely all the stock rubber/plastic piping is roughly 3" in diameter.

In my point a view, replacing only the filter will give roughly the same result than upgrading to a cold air intake. Don't need to say that both one must be tuned to achieve good gains.

Have a nice week end !!!

I have been thinking the same thing. I just can't believe the cai will make that big of a difference over just the filter.

I love there microscope view of there super special 3-D foam. I bet thic company spent millions just so this $8.00 filter would trap dirt.
