ls4 throttle body

Hi i just bought an ls4 throttle body.from a member here ,great site by the way ,and i was wondering if i can drive my 07 ss sc with stock tune with that tb ,untill i got myself a ottp stage 2 package ,the reason im asking this Is because i dont want to drop the stage for now and my tb is pretty weak (keep accelerating at slight throttle)

^ yup. The LS4 TB has a larger diameter than the stock tune is designed for. You will experience all kinds of stutter and choppyness if you try to run it without adjusting for it in the tune.

I'd go with ZZP Stage 3. GM Stage 2 was designed with warranty in mind so it will be more reliable, but it is not the best for performance.

Great ,i did notice that on the web site on ottp they remove torque management let you choose the rev limiter and also tune for the ls4 ,i know its only option but are zzp able to fine tune like ottp ?

Nope, OTTP Tuning is WAY better than ZZP. If you get ZZP tune then something wrong with it they won't get back to you ASAP! And ZZP is canned tune. OTTP will get back to u ASAP! Josh from OTTP, he has text and you can text him. OTTP is worth of your time. I have OTTP tune in my car and it's worth it.

OTTP is great from a workmanship/tuning standpoint, but they usually have too much on their plate to give proper customer support. I've spent thousands of dollars with them and know all too well.

I can get daily updates from ZZP so not sure what some of these people are talking about.

I would stick with ZZP over OTTP. Both companies are great but i have spent 5k more with zzp than i did with OTTP.

You can either get your supercharger ported or get throttle body adapter from ZZP. They got good price for it. There is good and bad from ZZP as well for OTTP.
