It says 40 hp gain on an otherwise unchanged LSJ. Wonder what the gains would look like on a 2.8, basic cooling, intake, and exhaust? I'm just wondering what all they did to touch 400 at the wheels with that block.
It's not that bad DCR's 2.6L kit for the SRT is 6K with out core charges or shipping, rated for 1200whp (rods) 1500whp rods are avaliable and 1400-1500whp for everything else.
I bet people can make some good numbers with this kit. I wonder what this, the M62 and E-85 could make.

I see.
Personally if I was going to spend that much money I would want more than 401 whp and ditch the M62. Still good numbers for what it is though.
Considering they got 383 whp out of the K04 with cams I wonder what they could get out of this.

first revision 2.3l was 11:1
Well, they just did it to say it's possible lol. 99.9% of people aren't going to go for big power with stock blower, still sweet though.

Ya i would love to see what Tim could do with a TVS or turbo
This is the only picture i found on the ZZP site of Tim's car with the stroker.
August of 2009 Tim dyno tested our first version of the ZZP stroker engine. He made 367WHP with a stock M62 smashing all supercharged Ecotec records at the time. More can be read here:
Since the last dyno Tim made these changes:
-ZZP stage 2 transmission with 4.45 final drive
-ZZP custom heat exchanger, which is 2x our S3 HE due to the fact that he doesn't run the OEM HE
-Fuel octane and alcohol % has been increased
-Updated bottom end, 2.4L, crankshaft improvements, ATI SFI 8% OD balancer
-Alignment setup for drag racing
-ZZP long tube header
Final result? A 35WHP gain to 401WHP!

I got this info straight from the site.
