Is an Lsj backwards comaptible with a cavalier?

Is an Lsj backwards comaptible with a cavalier?

Ya I'm just wondering if I could do an enine swap with the lsj andplace it in m 2001 cav is his remotely possible?

idk but y dont u jus build ur 2.2 n make it whine or turbo it? i had a cavalier n i wish i would kept it to turbo it they are alot easier to get mor HP out of it than a sc

It's not plug-and-play, there would be a lot of fab work as well as tuning and you'd need a new transmission more than likely as well.

With enough money it might be possible, but you're probably better off building what you got. There are a lot of high horsepower turbo'd Cavaliers hanging around, I'd go with that.

Just build and boost the L61. It is a very strong engine once the internals are replaced with forged components.

not worth the money at all due to everything that has to be changed. the LSJ is a mostly electric motor, but the one in ur car is manual. so you'd have to change things like power steering from manual to electric...theres a lot more, but idk that much about it to tell u more.
