LSJ Clutch Advise

Alright guys looking for some advise. As of right now I just installed a spec stage 3+ clutch on the car last summer. I had high hopes for it but with school its going to stay how it is as far as performance. So I no longer need that clutch its major overkill. I was considering putting my s256et on the car but I sold it instead. Need a reliable car to drive the next couple years for school so I don't want to do any other performance mods. I was considering getting the gm performance clutch with a new flywheel instead. I only used the spec clutch for a couple thousand miles so if anyone is interested it will be up for sale soon cheap. No blueing like new no problems with it even throw in the flywheel. (Spec clutch is the one designed for stock flywheel) Anyways have any of you guys had problems with the gm performance clutch? I have a stock exhaust besides a magnaflow cat back and 2.8 pulley with intake and other supporting mods. Probably like 240-250 hp. Does anyone see me having any problems with this clutch? Thanks for any input!

The GMPP clutch is awesome. Best bang for the buck and will handle the power you are putting out no problem.

Alright good to hear! I didn't really think I would have any problems with it. I was just hoping it was better than stock because that one sucked *****. Lol the spec clutch is awesome I just really have no use for it since its like a 5-600 hp clutch on a 200hp car. Lol

with what i trap on my race tune probably around 360ish, and around 300flbs maybe a little more. Ive ran the gmp for 45k miles now and have launched on slicks at over 5k rpms many times and it has never slipped once. Ive seen buddies at road courses and the strip have issues with more powerful high dollar clutches and they have since went to the gmp

GMPP is the best! That is what I have in my car with my OTTP Stage 1 transmission mount. I gotta tell you it make it so much easier to drive.
