Lsj dorm room build

Hi guys i am new on here and am not able to post to the classifieds yet but here is the story, I picked up a 2006 cobalt ss 2.0 sc for cheep and made some real bad engine noises, i pulled the engine over the last summer and because of school starting up and work i never got to it. Now i am going to school here in wisconsin and decided i wanted to rebuild the engine, i actually decided to pull it apart in my dorm room with my buddies, here is what i found, spun rod bearing, and all of the main and rod bearings showed signs of lack of lubrication. And the crank is junk and 1 rod from the heat discolorarion on the cap, i was wondering if anyone had anything that i should do to make it more reliable when i put it back together, also i am looking for a crank and a rod and some other engine parts if anyone on here has any laying around and would like to get rid of i would be very interested, thanks Ben
