Is there a specific size muffler or too big of a muffler that i can get for my ss/sc... I know that no hp upgrade is really produced but i wanted to know whether or not that if i get a custom exhaust that i need a right size muffler, Plus i plan to go atlease stage 2 but no turbo ever so i dont want to have to change the exhaust again but i just wanna know. I need to know what size piping atleast would produce the best results. If i do this i was looking at 2 mufflers, A hks Carbon muffler or a Apexi N1

Go 2.5 or 2.75 that seems to be our sweet spot for our exhaust for the piping. As far as muffler, that's really just up to ur taste

Well for best results I think you'd want to match the pipe size with the inlet (I think im not too sure so anyone feel free to correct me) of the muffler. But really mufflers are just whatever you wanna hear from your car. Stay away from slp tho, those sound like **** on our car. I've got a flowmaster 40 series with custom dp w/out cat and I've got some vids in the pics/vid section. I've also got a huge as reasonator too but its nice and deep and I love it

 

Screw just a muffler. It won't do **** as you know besides sound. Get a 2.5 or 2.75 catback to help get the most out of your stage 2.
