lsj turbo swap from lnf

I seached the forums but could not find my answer.
I have a friend that is going to sell me his turbo setup from his LNF.
It includes all piping, cooler, intake and turbo manifold. He also said he will include oil lines.
I know I will have to do some modifications but will this swap fit? I read something about the intake manifold not fitting due to a cooling line. All advice is welcome.
Where can I get a decent turbo for a good price?

Bump for these guys.

ok its the exhaust manifold that wont fit because of the rear coolant pipe, you need both the rear coolant pipe and the thermostat housing from the LNF , also the oil return wont work on the lsj you will need a diferant return setup as for the intake manifold the bolt patern is diferant and the intake runner ports wont alighn right so your beter off geting aN intake manifold for the LSJ with that being said the cold side charge pipe will need to be diferant

read my how to on installing a k04 on non LNF engines, there is also a parts list in there to along with part numbers

a modified saab 9-3 intake manifold is what ZZP sells as a turbo intake manifold for the LSJ they mill out the bolt holes and add another vacume nipple along with machining the throtle body atachment

He will tell you to just keep your Supercharger and own all LNFs with it.

with that said, the k04 isnt the best turbo for an LSJ. but its a good turbo for 300-330 hp.

meh the only prob I see with the K04 is the durability, they seam to die fairly easily

wut.

k04s are way durable. you can beat the shit out of them and they work just fine. Even 30 psi spikes and people have no problem with them

20g net you more power. Can pick a reasonably priced one on Ebay. They are also very reliable.

mrbelvedere 03-12-2013 09:08 AM

id run a 20g before a ko4 they don't hold up well
