I switched to the vortech centifugal unit

Start with repairing the mechanical issues first. Water in the oil / oil in the water is never good. I am sure you will need to take the head off to inspect and find the issue. This is either going to be a head gasket issue or worse.

Codes are;
P0121 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0502 Vehicle Speed Sensor Low Input
P0520 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction
P1101 MAF Sensor Out Of Self Test Range./KOER Not Able To Complete KOER Aborted
P1182 Supercharger inlet pressure(scip) sensor performance - actual airpressure by the scip does not correspond to calculated airpressure for more then .5 seconds
P1183 CAN BUS comunication issue

I would bet that you have a ground issue causing all of these codes.

jittjoey 07-11-2012 01:33 AM

well the 2 codes for the supercharger are expected as the sensor isnt plugged in or on the supercharger at all... so kinda narrows that donw a tad, but im going to do a test on my oil tomorrow and then qucik oil pressure gauge to make sure its there

SCcobaltSS 07-11-2012 11:16 AM

Did you get the head machine before putting it back on with that new gasket?

Turn off the SCIP code if its not hooked up.

Inspect the sensors that the codes are showing for. Ground is possible, but still inspect the sensors.

jittjoey 07-12-2012 08:00 PM

Have the day of tomorrow gonna hook. Up oil pressure gauge make sure it's the sensor ad then work on the throttle body

carstedt 07-12-2012 08:06 PM

i say get rid of the 1.6 and send it my way :)

I had a ringland in a few cylinders, bought a block off of steve ( corn_fed i think was his name on here) that had dartons diamond and the works... cometic head gasket is what im running now for the higher compression and boost with the lysholm

jittjoey 07-15-2012 01:42 PM

so who feels like a fucking retard......This guy!!!! so the two codes for the oil sensor/switch are from the lack of oil cooler therefore i dont have the oil switch to plug into therefore causing those codes............So being the valedictorian doesn't mean shit when working on cars... something told me im missing the easy shit....so now were down to figuring out the throttle body codes and that should have them all covered

Melon 07-15-2012 01:47 PM

good to hear u figured some of it out! i'm waiting to see how this b***h runs and some dyno numbers. good luck with the TB issues

06_SIC_SS 07-15-2012 01:50 PM

i meant to ask u that the other day when u texted me.. apparently should not have forgotten. keep pluggin away

throttle body issues are in the tune more than likely.. getting high idle codes and what not were things i dealt with when i had the ls4 and the car was idling at 11 to 1250 rpm

jittjoey 07-15-2012 01:55 PM

im going to use my budies cobalt and steal his throttle body real quick to make sure its deff not the throttle body itself... i know that is 90% most likely not the problem but its a 20 mine item to swapp out so im willing to rule that out right away

06_SIC_SS 07-15-2012 01:57 PM

ur not gonna wanna take off th stock one after its on there because its gonna idle and run a lot better lol

I have aftermarket cams and an LS4 TB using the stock idle table +100rpm. I agree that more time with the tune could possible help, but it seems like there is something mechanical going on...
