M62 Porting

I have searched for a little now on here about porting the M62 and want to find out more and im lazy to keep searching. Heres the deal my cobalt is in the garage year round and comes out only in the summer months. Well my list of mods go on and on but for the quick run down to get what im talking about to help me i got....
2.6 Pulley on the supercharger
Full exhaust
injectors
tune
aftermarket clutch and flywheel
fujita intake
wideband and interceptors
iridium plugs
dual pass with opt b
zzp front second H/E

Well listen, I dont wanna spend too much money but im getting bored and want something to do thats what it really comes down to, the car sits there and i dont do anything. Well my girlfriends father is a big mechanic and does everything, he has a machine shop and everything at his house. I was thinking to port the supercharger out and installing the LS4(i think thats what zzp has) TB on it. He said he can port the blower for me no problem just seeing what gains people get and see if i can even do it.

Thanks guys

I believe most gains are coming from the outlet. Many say don't touch the inlet side, and if you do... go very light on the port.

Yea like if anything just polish in intake side

Def port the exit side. you wanna go like what 1/4 inch around it maybe.

And plug the silencer holes!!

Only really worth running the ls4 with a tvs blower and 3" intake

Thats just what i derived from reading a few writeups on blower porting on here there are pics in those threads

Not sure what size the fujita is id guess 2.5

If ur running that small of a pulley id be more concerned about cooling mods. And porting the exit on the blower does effectively cool better

Plugging the silencer holes makes the blower a lot louder which is what we all want deep down lol its risky though and many do not want to do it for the risk of the plugs breaking into the intake mani. Again threads on this subject exist too

if you don't know what your doing on porting the blower leave it alone you will make the performance fall off and plugging the silencer holes is useless

Nothing in your motor needs to come apart

Ive always seen threads saying how you have to port the heads and build up the head. And have to use meth and crap.

use a plate between the blower and holes so the plug cant go into the manifold. Will take some custom work but would be completely safe. Also weld in the plug, but be sure to heat up the casing of the supercharger so it doesnt warp(very important) but its just a sound mod.. up to you if its worth it rice. Just go TVS.

with E85 with and a TVS you can go really high HP wise and not run into problems. just get a good tune.

Nope. All the other things you mentioned just help the TVS work it's best. All stock motor on pump gas around 300whp is achievable
