M62 temperature

I'm doing my SC coupler, as well as oil, obviously.. I was wondering how hot our blower actually gets.. Reason asking is I have clear rtv sealant sitting around which is good until 400°F according to Permatex.. I don't want to go out and buy more sealant for a higher temp if I don't have to.

Thanks.

When you change the coupler, you must seal the two parts of the blower back together.. The snout side and the rotor/gear side.

Thanks! Only reason I ask is ZZP asks you if you want "clear rtv sealant".. Well I've got a whole tube of that **** and I'm not about to pay $15 for it, from them..
