MAF controlled Meth Injection

So i saw that snow performance has a kit for the cobalt that uses the MAF to deliver the charge, does anyone know or can provide a little more info on how this works? Or adjustability maybe some close ups of the box

Im wanting the controller since I already have a kit, does anyone know where or if it can be purchased seperately. I really cant justify spending 400+ for 3/4s of a kit I dont need

I am pretty sure that you can just by the MAF part of it and also i believe that the MAF part recognizes when your car is under WOT and automatically engages the meth. I am not totally sure but thats what I think, it is sort of like a WOT throttle switch I guess but it just automatically recognizes it.

Sorry I can't help you with your question but I wanted to comment. Let me know how it goes for you. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you sometime. I'm only about 30-40min from where you are. Maybe we could meet half way. Good luck...

it reads the voltage output of you maf sensor and has 5 different "ramp" maps at which it outputs the signal to the variable controller. Has nothing to do with boost, just amount of air brought into the engine. and yes you can buy the MAf-t for the snow performance kit seperately.
I've had this kit on my car before, and just reinstalled it yesterday. for anything smalelr than a 2.8 pulley, you really can't live without it,. I mean come on 25 degrees of timing on 20+ psi on pump gas. doesnt get much better than that.... oh yeah then there is the 20-60 degree avg drop in IAT2's,.

Yea I think it will be a significant improvement over the simple boost switch I was running where it kicked on at 3-4psi and stays at the same level

I emailed cobalt addiction to see if they could get the part, havent heard back from them yet

I actually have the spare one they have at the moment, I'm having a problem with my pump turning on randomly, but since I rewired it pretty quickly, I"m going to rip it all out tomorrow morning and completely redo every connection (I can't see how I f'd up since this is the 2nd kit I installed in my personal car, and like the 8th I've done over all),

does yours not have 2 settings on it?

my snow performance module has a setting of when to start spraying and when to spray at full pressure, and it runs off manifold pressure via a vaccum line.

I dont have a snow performance kit, dont have any type of module, the boost switch activates a relay which turns on the pump which sprays a static pressure

the kit has 4 ramps, not 5, and our car specifically runs the best open, without a ramp, the ramps are designed to different frequency levels, and ours doesnt fit properly into any of the ramps.

the kit is amazing, but like 85 said, at times if will inject methanol without notice. i suggest a fuel pressure guage so you can see this.

fuel pressure guages only go to 100psi from what i can find

i do see some nice guages for 0-150psi but they are for oil pressure, could i still use this in line with my methanol line to read line pressure? Oil is a liquid I would think so?

If you want to go cheap you can just get another pressure switch (total of 2) and wire the low boost one with a resistor about 1/2 of the resistance (POWER resistor, not some 1/4 or 1/2amp lol )across the terminals on the pump and wire the higher boost switch with no resistor. Cheap ass 2 stage. I had that setup on my GTP, but used a WOT switch for the full pressure and the boost switch for the 1/2. Worked pretty good and helped keep down on alcohol waste.

IM not interested in going cheap, I want the snow Maf controller, im also going to have the system on a switch so it will not always be on, in addition to that im going to have a digital line pressure guage, 220psi pump and im redoing all the lines with stainless braided

Does the snow kit come with a TB or S/C spacer? Or is that up to the user to shoot before or after the S/C?

I want a kit myself now and was looking between this and the tag kit.
